Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put Joseph has unveiled an exciting 28-man squad as they prepare for the highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September.
Among the most notable selections is the legendary goalkeeper Denis Masinde Onyango, who makes a remarkable return to the national team after a four-year hiatus, reigniting hopes among fans with his wealth of experience and skill.
Also making a comeback is goalkeeper Salim Jamal Omar Magoola, who has been absent from the national setup since 2023. His inclusion adds depth to the team’s goalkeeping options and brings a fresh perspective to the squad.
