Youths launch Friends of Uganda, A movement of Peace and Unity

Friends of Uganda (FoU) is a transformative, citizen-driven movement dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and national preservation beyond political divides.
FOU was Launched on the 12th of November 2025 by Muhumuza Nassif who is also the founder and President of the Movement.
The organization emphasizes the importance of building peace day by day in hearts, families, communities, and among other nations.
Friends of Uganda aims to affirm a shared commitment to building a peaceful, united, and prosperous Uganda.
The movement’s philosophy is to “not curse the darkness, Sustain the injustices, But to light the candle that shall guide us through to a safer and sane future.”
Vision
The vision of Friends of Uganda is a united, peaceful, and prosperous Uganda where citizens collectively steward the nation’s resources and future. The organization prioritizes national interest above political cycles and partisan affiliations.
Mission
The mission of Friends of Uganda is to systematically promote a culture of peace, active tolerance, and patriotic responsibility among all Ugandans. This is achieved through strategic advocacy, inclusive cross-party dialogue, grassroots mobilization, and citizen-led national preservation campaigns.
Friends of Uganda invites citizens to join in their efforts to build a peaceful and prosperous Uganda.
