The Pallisa K9 Unit, comprising skilled handlers and talented police sniffer dogs, has once again demonstrated its exceptional capabilities in law enforcement. In a remarkable display of tracking prowess, police sniffer dog Beauty (T/P213) helped solve a shrine-breaking case in Butebo district.

On the night of June 4, 2025, a thief broke into the shrine of Lubale Yusuf, a witch doctor residing in Kaginima village, Butebo district.
The stolen items included “emindi” and “ensimbi,” which held significant cultural and spiritual value.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Pallisa K9 Unit was called to the scene,Police sniffer dog Beauty was introduced to the preserved scene, where she picked up the scent and tracked it for approximately 450 meters,the determined dog led the police to the shrine of Mwanika Charles, where the stolen items were recovered.
