Khalifa further says that his team has managed to rectify some of the mistakes committed in their first game, which enabled them to earn a decisive win in today’s game.
“We missed several scoring chances in our first game, but we went back on the drawing board, rectified our earlier mistakes and managed to perform better in today’s game,” he says.
Djibouti’s head coach, Ali Mohammed says that their main objective of participating in the tournament was to expose the girls to quality football and he is pleased that, irrespective of their poor performance, they are learning ball display skills from their stronger rivals.
