S.4 Candidate SENT TO PRISON

The magistrates court in Nabweru has sentenced a s.4 candidate to two months for hiring another person to help her sit for the ongoing UCE exams.

Nabweru grade one magistrate, Christian Kibuuka sentenced Rebecca Munyesi to two months imprisonment or pay shs200, 000 after she pleaded guilty to the charges of impersonation contrary to the UNEB Act 2021.

The magistrate said the two months punishment was enough for Munyesi since she has already lost a year and she will have to sit exams next year.
