More than 1207 students have today been certified with there certificates at different levels ie Degrees,Diplomas Masters and PhDs at the 26th graduation of the mighty Kampala International University in Kansaga.

On the event, the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda Hon. Annet Anita Among represented by her Deputy Hon Thomas Tayebwa who cherished the University leading board for such a satisfactory idea of putting up such a facility that benefits the country and it’s neighbors.

It’s at this point that Tayebwa asked the board to invest much money in construction of more hospital teaching schools since the world is over whelmed with deadly diseases like COVID 19 and Ebola that are terrorising man.

According to Tayebwa, in a bid to fight the deadly diseases like Ebola and COVID-19 private universities like KIU should invest much in health learning sector so that Uganda can have more professional health workers to deal with those deadly diseases.


Tayebwa has also revealed that government is willing to support private universities to produce quality and ethical students that can highly help in the development of the country without manipulating of Ugandans.

Meanwhile he congratulated KIU for maintaining it’s second position in Uganda in offering quality education and giving out busery beneficiaries to Ugandan students who that are financially incompetent.


On the event the KIU vice chancellor,Dr . Mouhamad Mpezamihingo has also urged government to offer work permanent waivers to international lecturers because the issue has costed them alot of money to mentain these lecturers in the due course.

At the graduation 57% of the graduates are male and 43% are were 1017 students have graduated with science courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and 184 will graduate as medical doctors Well as 06 students have graduated with PhDs
